The Town of South Padre Island is searching for a Chief of Police responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the activities of the Police Department including law enforcement, criminal investigations, telecommunications functions and support services. The Police Department consists of 28 sworn officers, 7 telecommunications staff and 3 support staff.  This position is a full-time executive level position that serves as the Department Head of the Police Department.
