Safety
|

We know that everyone loves to have fireworks
for the 4th of July, but
what you may or may not know is that discharging
of fireworks within the Town of South Padre
Island limits is prohibited (Ord. No. 14, Sec.
8-4). Visitors and residents should find an
area where discharging of fireworks is allowed
and follow the safety tips provided by the
National
Council on Fireworks Safety to
avoid serious and painful injuries.
