MOSQUITO SPRAYING |

Tonight, Thursday and Friday
the Town of South Padre Island will be spraying for mosquitoes.
Spraying will begin each night around 11
p.m., if the weather allows it.

applications from qualified volunteers to fill terms on town

ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE AWARD |

It is time to nominate an individual for the
2008 Environmental Excellence Award. The award is to
recognize a person that goes above and beyond to promote and
protect the environment of the Lower Laguna Madre area.
Nomination Forms must be returned by August 29, 2008.

BEACH WARNING SIGNALS |
|
If you're heading to the beach, you need to be
aware of the beach warning signals. The signals are
colored flags that indicate water conditions and are there for
your safety. However, these signals are only a warning.
Always take caution entering the water and keep children under
supervision at all times.

dunes.

regularly scheduled routes that run from the Island to Port Isabel.
