Way back in August 2006 we took these pictures.
And in Sept/Oct  2006 we took these pictures.

In November they start to place the plumbing and prepare the tops of the pilings for the first floor concrete slab to be poured.....

..  Dig a trench, put in some pipes.  

                              Dig more trenches, put in more pipes.    

Now more rebar is installed. The rebar is used to add strength to the concrete that will be poured for the first floor.  In this next group of pictures you can see the interlacing of rebar before the pour and then a similar view of the foundation area after the concrete has been poured.

Here it is December, almost Christmas.  The foundation has had time to set and the rebar is now being positioned to form the support pillars that will hold up the second floor.

  The rebar is framed in and then more concrete is poured to form the pillars.
